Absolute Deathification "When Mayhem And Chaos Ensue" shirt
"Momentum is a strange thing," muses Absolute Deathification lead singer Adrian Büeller. "I thought my daughter's influence over my creative process had ended with our 'Rainbows and Puppy Dogs' album, but it clearly hadn't."
Turns out, the main theme of "When Mayhem And Chaos Ensue" came from an unlikely source: "At the time, one of my daughter's favourite shows was Bob The Builder, and there was a song on there that sang, '...when mayhem and chaos ensue.' One of the most metal lyrics ever and it was on a kids' show!! It was a sign to make music - evil music - again." Themes of the collapse of modern society, Hades opening up and swallowing us all and the deep seeded malice inside of humanity abound in the album, all thanks to Adrian's daughter, who also enjoys unicorns and mermaids.
